Czech Glass Dagger Bead Designs                        Home 

Glass beads are produced in a very large quantity by the Czech Republic
both in factories and by cottage industries. These beads are sometimes
called "pressed glass" because the molten glass is poured into molds and
fired in a kiln. While they come in a variety of shapes and sizes, I am
particularly enamored with the dagger bead, which I have transformed into
the designs below. With gold or silver accents, or Swarovski Crystals these 
pieces easily transition from the office to a night on the town.
